
Kohleria 'Sciadotydaea Hybrid'. Large, about 4.5 - 5 cm, bright ruby-red flowers abundantly strewn with dark red dots. The throat is light, creamy-yellow, tube outside rose red. The leaves are dark green with light veins, pubescent, dentate. Shoots erect, strong. Sturdy сompact bush, abundant and long blooming. Today among kohleria is the large-flowered cultivar. This plant was previously being grown and distributed by the Smithsonian as K. warszewiczii. It has been the parent of a number of interesting hybrids, including several from crosses with K. bogotensis.
