Streptocarpella caulescens 'Pallescens'. The flowers are medium-sized, simple, hairy, wide open, bell-shaped, with a long thin tube of pale lilac-pink color with white petals and decorated with pink-purple stripes. The flower shape is very similar to the flowers of some species of orchids, such as the characteristic protruding lip and bright expressive painting of the upper lobes. The leaves are light green, hairy, soft, medium-sized, oval, pointed, oppositely disposed. Stems are erect, thick, smooth, juicy, succulent, thickening towards the bottom, well-branched. Homeland of this form are East Africa and Madagascar. It prefers to grow in moist shady places, with fairly easy to tolerate bright light. Long and branched stems make this plant suitable for cultivation as baskets in hanging planters. When growing avoid watering too cold water, which causes the appearance of bright spots on the leaves. Well propagated by cuttings.
