Kohleria Ampallang (John Boggan). Large plain pink-purple tubular flowers pubescent with pale pink-yellow throat and brightly colored petals. The inner surface of the petals richly studded with the rich dark cherry specks, two upper petals much darker than the rest of the petals. The leaves are dark green, toothed, pubescent, often along the main veins may appear spectacular contrasting red-brown, almost black, spots. Compact shrub, profuse and long flowering.
